Tipsy Junior

An unusual model for the scale modeller, the Tipsy Junior is popular amongst economy minded pilots.
A pre-war light plane from Fairey, this is a 1/5th scale model.

The original was designed by Mr.Ernest Tipps of Fairey in Belgium. The first Junior carried the
registration 00-TIT, was powered by a Mikron engine and made its maiden flight at Gosselies in 1946.

With a 40 4-stroke, it is very realistic.
If you're getting a bit tired of your baisc trainer and looking for something with a bit of character, aerobatic capability, and at the same time, not too hot for your limited experience - then the "Tipsy Junior" is just the kit for you.

This kit contains all the major pre-cut balsa and ply parts, ample balsa sheet, strip and block, plus Fibreglass cowl, pre-formed wire undercarriage parts, accessory pack and construction plan.
